Who are the Marshalls and who are the Bowerings? Who are we? Like many other “new world” families, both the Marshalls and the Bowerings can trace their origins to Great Britain of the 1800s – to Ireland in the case of the Marshalls and to south-western England in the case of the Bowerings. However, both families settled in very different parts of the new world – but mainly in North America. |

 Sadly it is reported that recently two much loved members of the Bowering clan have passed away. They are:-
On 31st January 2006 David Anthony (Tony) Bowering of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland aged 58. Tony was a G-G-G-G-G-Grandson of James & Elizabeth.  On 2nd February 2006 Mildred Butler of Vancouver, BC aged 88. Mildred was a G-G-G-Granddaughter of James and Elizabeth. Our deepest sympathy is extended to their families. |
